Weight Watchers Weigh In: Week 34

WW Weigh In Week 34 – I am so glad it is fall. Fall means routine. I keep saying it but it is true. I feel like I know what my days are going to look like, more or less, right now. That means it is easier to plan. With the weather cooling off I have more easy go-to meals at my disposal. There is still an abundance of fruit and veggies around. Fall is good.

I had a strong week. I still had some splurges, but I tracked everything and used my weekly points sporadically throughout the week rather than on one huge meal out. Over all I was on track and I felt good. I did get one workout in, and not the 3 I’d hoped for, but sometimes weeks are like that. Hopefully I can get in a rhythm this week (especially after our big Sunday School Kickoff this Sunday).

It was a solid effort, and a solid effort = a solid loss.

-2.0 Pounds
80.8 lbs Lost on WW to Date
115.2 Lost since E2′s birthday

I included the amount since E2 was born because she turned 10 months old on Sunday. So in just over 10 months I’ve worked to lose 115.2lbs! (and she weighed 8.9lbs so she doesn’t account for THAT much of the number!)

More importantly, I can see the difference. In face then I went to take pictures today I lamented that my 18/20 sweater was a little loose and it was hard to tell how much progress I’ve really made. Still I think it is (fairly) obvious that I’ve lost weight at this point.

E2′s birthday – November 7, 2013

weight loss before

I really am making progress, and seeing progress. At 80.8 I have now lost as much as I did on WW last time (pre E2). I am not quite to my lowest weight that I had reached then, nor am I anywhere close to my ultimate goal weight (which is a number I am uncertain of anyway). But I have no complaints.

If people ask how I do this it is really simple – I follow Weight Watchers, I track my food, I try to get moving, and I try to keep making good choices. Bottom line – I keep trying and keep fighting. It is STILL a fight to make the right choices, but it is easier on days when I can see how far I have come already. And if I think about it in the big picture, I may already be halfway to my goal. I figure another 100 lbs might be a very good place to be.

Some quick math says I’ve lost 23% of my weight since E2 was born. Awesome. I wonder where I’ll be on her birthday in two more months? I guess I’ll keep it up and find out! Thank you all for your continued support in all of this.

Weight loss is hard, public weight loss can be harder, but you guys are so kind to me in this space (in a tough love sort of way on occasion that I really need). Thank you!
